-- Accreditation ---

The Ephesians 4 Center for Learning operates as a non-profit organization within the state of Indiana. The Ephesians 4 Center for Learning is not accredited in the traditional sense of the word. We have chosen this path because of the specific mission that the Lord has mandated to us, a course of action which is not an accepted part of the traditional world of educational institutions. As a traditionally accredited institution, we would be duty-bound by the rules and regulations imposed on us by any organization through which we gained standard accreditation. As such, we would be compelled to insist on standard rates for registration and tuition for each class taught. Since our mission is to bring deep, insightful, relevant teaching to the body of Christ as a whole without regard for financial obligation, this would severely hinder and prevent us from accomplishing our goal. This, however, does not mean that we will not thoroughly investigate the accrediting process. If we discover that we can move toward accreditation without compromising the principles upon which this education institution are founded, we will do so. If, however, we find that we cannot become accredited without compromising our philosophy and approach, then we will be content to stay "outside the camp" so as to fulfill the mandate that Christ has laid upon us.

While the Ephesians 4 Center for Learning recognizes the validity of traditional accreditation and is always evaluating its educational process by the respective standards of various accrediting associations, the uniqueness of the educational program of the Ephesians 4 Center for Learning best fits outside the design of traditional schools. Most accrediting associations and schools stress academics over practical equipping for ministry. The Ephesians 4 Center for Learning stresses the spiritual, the practical and the professional aspects of equipping the saints, along with a sound Biblical academic emphasis, all coupled with our unique financial approach to the delivery of college-level instruction to the average member of the Body of Christ. In so doing, we place ourselves on a by-faith basis for our ministry, trusting the Lord to provide those financial resources which are necessary to complete our task. Just as we have freely received knowledge, insight and understanding from the Lord, so now we freely give that same knowledge, insight and understanding back to the Body of Christ so that each member of that Body may truly come to the fullness of the measure of the stature of Christ which the Apostle Paul speaks about in his letter to the church at Ephesus. It is our fervent prayer that you will come and join us in this high and holy mission, so that Christ may come again speedily for His Bride.
